1. Monter au Titlis en telecabine tournant (Rotair)

Le trajet jusqu'au sommet du Titlis se fait en trois etapes : telecabine d'Engelberg a Trubsee, puis a Stand, puis le Titlis Rotair -- le premier telecabine tournant au monde -- jusqu'a 3'238 m. Au sommet : grotte de glace, terrasse panoramique, Cliff Walk (passerelle suspendue a 3'041 m au-dessus d'une falaise de 500 m), et ski d'ete sur le glacier. 2. Traverser le Cliff Walk

3. Visiter l'abbaye benedictine

L'abbaye d'Engelberg, fondee en 1120, est toujours un monastere actif. Les moines produisent un fromage artisanal renomme. La fromagerie Klosterkaserei est ouverte aux visiteurs (gratuit). L'eglise baroque merite une visite.

4. Randonner a Trubsee

Le lac de Trubsee (1'764 m), a mi-chemin du Titlis, est un point de depart pour des randonnees familiales dans un cadre alpin spectaculaire. Pedalo sur le lac, sentiers faciles et restaurants de montagne. Telecabine aller-retour a Trubsee : CHF 40.
